Job summary

Hunt Energy Network, a Dallas-based developer and operator of distributed energy resources, seeks an Associate Real Time Operator to support asset optimization and arbitrage strategies at its Network Optimization Center in Dallas.

The role focuses on real-time analysis, dispatch execution, and reporting for management. It requires a DuPont twelve-hour rotating schedule and completion of the NERC System Operator exam, with contract-to-hire potential.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in engineering, accounting, finance, economics or equivalent.
• Experience in pricing, risk assessment and transaction structuring.
• Ability to work rotating twelve-hour shifts on a DuPont schedule.
• Willingness to obtain NERC System Operator Certification and relevant training.

Responsibilities

• Optimize dispatch of the network of power generation assets using traDER Max.
• React profitably to ERCOT dispatch changes and ISO market procedures.
• Operate the fleet of power assets, including battery storage resources.
• Execute real-time dispatch and trading strategies from the commercial team.
• Contribute to revenue-enhancing strategies for the portfolio.
• Interface with Market Participants enrolled in HEN asset management solutions.
• Collaborate with software and operations teams to ensure reliability and compliance.
