Job summary

Hunt Energy Network is a Dallas-based developer and operator of distributed energy resources. It seeks an Associate Real Time Operator to support asset optimization and arbitrage strategies at its Network Optimization Center in Dallas, with a DuPont 12-hour rotating schedule.

This contract-to-hire role requires successful completion of the NERC System Operator exam. The position involves real-time dispatch, market analysis, and collaboration with software and operations teams to ensure

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in engineering, accounting, finance, economics or equivalent.
• Experience with pricing, risk assessment and transaction structuring.
• Ability to work rotating twelve-hour shifts on a 24/7/365 DuPont schedule.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the traDER Max platform to optimize dispatch of power assets.
• React to ERCOT dispatch changes and market procedures with profitability in mind.
• Operate fleet including battery storage resources and real-time trading.
• Execute real-time dispatch and trading strategies set by the commercial team.
• Develop revenue-enhancing strategies for the asset portfolio.
• Interface with Market Participants and collaborate with software/ops teams for reliability.
