Job summary

TC Energy is seeking a Real Time Systems (RTS) Capability Strategist to drive planning and evolution of RTS capabilities from Houston, TX, Calgary, AB, or Charleston, WV. This business-facing role collaborates with stakeholders, portfolio architects, and delivery teams to shape strategy and roadmaps for multi-year investments in RT systems such as PI, AVEVA CONNECT, and related platforms.

Ideal candidates will translate business needs into actionable requirements, support business case

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience in Operational Technology, Information Technology, industrial systems, business analysis, product or capability planning, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and evolve multi-year RTS capability roadmaps.
• Engage business stakeholders to understand operational challenges, emerging needs and opportunities for capability improvement.
• Translate business needs into clear capability requirements, use cases and planning inputs.
• Co-develop capability strategies and roadmaps with the Portfolio Architect, incorporating priorities and constraints.
• Develop evidence-based recommendations on capability investments, prioritization, sequencing and optimization.
