Job summary

Devon in the United States is seeking a Control Room Operator to support safe, reliable operations across production, midstream, and water facilities. You will monitor real-time data, analyze trends, and respond to alarms while coordinating with field personnel to maintain performance and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 0-3 years of experience in E&P operations, a high school diploma (Associate/Bachelor’s a plus), and strong communication and digital literacy.

Qualifications

• High School diploma; associates/bachelor’s degree a plus but not required.
• 0-3 years of relevant experience in E&P operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safe, reliable, efficient oversight of production, pipeline, and water facilities.
• Monitors real-time conditions via SCADA and other systems; evaluates alarms and informs operators.
• Responds to alarms and abnormal conditions, documenting actions and outcomes.
• Serves as central point during incidents and emergency situations.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize asset performance.
• Prioritizes and completes basic assignments with supervision as needed.
• Develops general working knowledge of assets and procedures.
