Job summary

FOX News Digital is seeking an Associate Homepage and Social Media Editor to help shape how audiences engage with Fox News Media. You’ll curate the homepages and apps, using data, editorial guidance, and your own judgment to feature our content.

You’ll also drive audience engagement on social media by crafting headlines and captions, editing photos and clipping videos, controlling livestreams, and producing scroll-stopping visuals. Weekend/holiday flexibility is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a newsroom environment.
• Ability to work under deadline in breaking news.
• Familiarity with the FOX brand and drive to dominate coverage.
• Strong language skills, especially in headlines and self-editing, with a good eye for visuals.
• Familiarity with real-time analytics and social platforms (Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok).
• Photo editing experience; video editing is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time management with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Help curate the FOX News and FOX Business homepages and apps.
• Use real-time analytics to determine content placements.
• Write compelling headlines and captions for social media graphics.
• Create visually engaging montages, photo illustrations and slideshows.
• Monitor live streams and press conferences for newsworthy moments.
• Clip breaking news videos and identify viral potential.
• Leverage AI tools to work faster and smarter.
