Job summary

Fox News Media is seeking an Editor for Flash/Media-Culture who can identify editorial angles around news and broader issues for FoxNews.com and FoxBusiness.com.

The role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed, with responsibilities including editing, coordinating reporters, and ensuring high editorial standards across platforms. A strong background in journalism and digital media is essential.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience
• Experience in news, TV, or daily video
• Strong knowledge of and passion for news, media, politics, and pop culture
• Experience using content management systems and video editing systems
• Familiarity with AP style
• Strong SEO and social media skills
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to pivot between breaking news stories and longer projects
• Ability to work mornings, evenings, or weekends as required
• Ability to be a self-starter with strong news judgment for a digital audience
• Strong command of Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Illustrator preferred
• Experience integrating AI tools into editorial workflows to enhance speed and decision-making

Responsibilities

• Monitor news on Fox News and other channels and pursue editorial angles for FoxNews.com and FoxBusiness.com
• Assign and edit pieces daily
• Guide reporters on gathering elements and coordinate production with technical staff
• Cut video from shows for use in articles or homepages
• Write and/or copyedit and optimize headlines and copy
• Ensure editorial standards across platforms and smooth handovers to the next shift
