Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering or related technical discipline.
• Relevant experience in missile or flight-vehicle modeling and simulation.
• Hands-on experience with 3-DOF/6-DOF simulations.
• Strong fundamentals in flight mechanics and dynamics.
• Experience with Monte Carlo, error-budget, and uncertainty quantification.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or C++ and version control with Git.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and maintain 3-DOF and 6-DOF simulations for missile systems.
• Implement equations of motion and coordinate transformations.
• Integrate models of aerodynamics, propulsion, and sensors into simulations.
• Develop guidance, navigation, and control algorithms within closed-loop sims.
• Evaluate performance metrics and conduct robustness analyses.
• Support hardware-in-the-loop and real-time simulation environments.
