Job summary

Agave Wire and Interstate Wire is seeking a Quality Auditor to perform real-time inspections and verify processes on the production floor in Rockwall, TX. The role ensures compliance, prevents waste, and supports continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

This hourly, non-exempt position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of QA experience. Proficiency with measurement tools and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of quality assurance experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to facilitate learning and support process improvements.
• Math aptitude and computer literacy; proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and microscopes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specification drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform real-time verification of processes and machine setups on the manufacturing floor.
• Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections of all products at every stage of production.
• Ensure all operators follow proper tooling care procedures.
• Identify and report non-conforming products or processes to prevent waste.
• Collect and document machine downtime information in the Machine Downtime report.
• Assist with additional quality-related tasks as assigned.
• Perform other duties to support production and quality initiatives.
