Job summary

JT4, LLC seeks a Computer Scientist - openMCT to direct software and systems engineering services in a collaborative group. You will identify risks, provide technical guidance, and maintain documentation to ensure system stability and timely test goals.

The role requires engineering experience with Java, REST APIs, WebSockets, and real-time data visualization, plus strong communication and mentoring abilities. Security clearance and U.S. citizenship are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an associated discipline with 4+ years of related experience, or a master's with 2+ years, or a PhD.
• Experience with computer-based systems and applications.
• Programming skills in languages used for job-specific programming tasks.
• Familiarity with industry-standard hardware and software design and documentation techniques.
• Experience with systems engineering and software development lifecycles.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Good planning/organizational skills.
• The candidate must possess a valid, state issued driver's license.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
