SWITS DIGITAL Private Limited is seeking a HIL / Power Electronics Validation Engineer in Raleigh, NC to design breakout boards and configure OPAL-RT HIL setups for UPS and converter systems. You will develop real-time models using MATLAB/Simulink and Stateflow, and validate hardware-software integration in complex simulations.

Qualifications

Hands-on HIL testing and validation of power converters.
MATLAB/Simulink and Stateflow model development.
Experience with power electronics systems: inverters, UPS, AC/DC, DC-DC converters.

Responsibilities

Design breakout/interface boards for HIL integration.
Configure OPAL-RT HIL test setups for power electronics.
Develop and maintain real-time HIL models in MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow.
Integrate control hardware with HIL environments: signaling, I/O, wiring validation.
Perform DVT-aligned validation activities and report results.
Troubleshoot hardware-software integration issues in real-time sims.
Coordinate with Control, Firmware, and System Engineering teams.
Support controller algorithm verification and fault injection testing.
Perform hardware/software integration testing in real-time simulations.
