Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in geophysics / computer science or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of complex geophysical processing, archiving and health monitoring software.
  • Experience with containerized and scalable cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of seismic processing pipeline components and machine learning algorithms.
  • Experience with CI/CD infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of Python and C++ programming.
  • Ability to develop migration and system implementation plans.
  • Experience with complex system troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, designs, integrates, develops, tests, deploys, configures, operates, maintains and documents advanced geophysical data processing and archiving software.
  • Leads analyses of state-of-the-art solutions for geophysical data processing including ML approaches.
  • Develops and maintains CI/CD pipelines and tests.
  • Maintains health monitoring and alerting tools and ensures timely delivery of earthquake products.
  • Updates system configurations and performs upgrades and OS migrations.
  • Leads collaborative teams on data processing and interconnectivity concepts.
