Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Engineer Embedded Software 3 to join our Chandler, AZ team. You will support real-time embedded software development, architectural work, and integration testing within a multi-discipline environment, ensuring conformance to software standards.

The role requires a BS in CS/Engineering, strong C/C++ in Linux, and hands-on RTOS experience. Active DoD Secret clearance and US citizenship are required. This is a fully onsite contract position with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science/Engineering in CS/Computer Systems or related field.
• C/C++ in Linux experience required.
• Embedded real-time software development experience.
• Familiarity with RTOS environments (VxWorks, Integrity, LynxOS, Yocto Linux or equivalent).
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Support requirements development, architecture development, detailed design, code unit test, and integration test of real-time embedded software.
• Ensure software standards are consistently met.
