Job summary

Singularity Defense in El Segundo, CA is seeking an embedded software engineer to design and implement software for critical aerospace systems. You will work on fault detection, guidance, and flight control software for rapid deployment and testing on a novel platform.

You will optimize real-time performance, test across module and system levels, and contribute to software architecture and computer vision components.

Qualifications

• 3+ years embedded systems design experience.
• Strong C/C++ programming skills for embedded platforms.
• Experience with hardware interfaces (I2C, CAN, SPI, UART).
• Low-level driver implementation experience.
• Understanding of GNC, control/estimation, and autonomous sensors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement embedded software for fault detection and flight control.
• Optimize real-time performance and reliability of aerospace software.
• Integrate and test algorithms across modules and system levels.
• Manage configurations on embedded devices and hardware interfaces.
