Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is seeking a Data Engineer to join the Derivatives Market Data team in New York. You will monitor, manage, and enhance equity and commodity derivatives market data, collaborating with Sales and Quants to deliver accurate valuation datasets and insights.

The role emphasizes data quality, automated monitoring, and cross-functional communication to support intraday decision-making for clients globally.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s in a quantitative field; financial engineering or math preferred.
3+ years of working with financial market data and data management.
Advanced SQL and Python; AI/ML knowledge is a plus.
Experience with data products and valuation services.

Responsibilities

Identify data anomalies and remediate to improve data quality and reliability.
Calibrate, maintain, and enhance model parameters for high-quality outputs.
Design and implement automated monitoring and alerting for data integrity.
Process large volumes of historical and real-time implied market data.
Analyze derivatives markets to support pricing and portfolio valuation inquiries.
Collaborate with Sales, Product Specialists, and Market Data teams to resolve client issues.
Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies in equity and derivatives.
Communicate effectively with Quants and Business Partners to translate requirements.
