Job summary

Florida State University is seeking a Real Time Crime Center Analyst to collect, analyze, and summarize data on criminal activity for real-time intelligence and investigative leads. The role supports field operations with timely information, maps interpretation, and coordination with partner agencies.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience, plus a valid Florida or Georgia driver's license.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and two years of experience related to criminal intelligence, crime analysis, or similarly analytical in nature.
Valid State of Florida or Georgia Driver’s License or ability to obtain prior to hire.

Responsibilities

Receive, abstract, and summarize data related to criminal activities to prepare real-time intelligence for investigative leads and situational awareness.
Analyze police data from CAD, telephone, radio, and other systems to provide timely intelligence during active calls.
Maintain accurate records, ensure data integrity, and review daily bulletins and shift reports.
Represent the organization professionally and establish effective working relationships with partner agencies and the public.
Meet requirements and maintain required licensures and complete agency training.
