Job summary

Fresno Superior Court is hiring Voice Writing and Steno Court Reporters Realtime. A CSR license is required to apply, and travel between court locations may be necessary. Reports verbatim testimony using realtime software and prepares official transcripts for court proceedings.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Certified Shorthand Reporter (CSR) license in California.
• No minimum experience required.
• Possession of valid Class “C” California Driver’s License or ability to travel between court locations.

Responsibilities

• Report accurately and verbatim all court proceedings.
• Provide realtime reporting.
• Read back testimony as requested during proceedings.
• Prepare and certify official transcripts of proceedings.
• Maintain reporter notes and transcript files.
