Real-time Communications Performance Test Engineer

Description

You will work closely with the real-time communications development and cross-functional teams to ensure the highest quality. Responsibilities include creating and tracking high-quality bug reports, triaging issues with developers, and reporting on project progress and risk analysis. Testing involves understanding complex product features, developing testing matrices, and creating executable test plans. You will collaborate with multifunctional teams, identify gaps in testing strategies, and may perform manual testing with the goal of automation. Building strong team relationships and automating tests are key to success. Additionally, you will drive fixes for critical performance tests conducted by various teams.

Minimum Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C/C++, Swift, XCTest
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins

Preferred Qualifications

• Data analysis skills with tools like Tableau
• Experience with databases such as MongoDB and SQL
• Experience testing video/audio codecs is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Apple offers a competitive total compensation package, including a base pay range of $112,300 to $195,200, dependent on skills and experience. Benefits include medical and dental coverage, retirement plans, employee stock programs, educational reimbursement, and more.
