Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a software engineer to design and implement advanced tracking algorithms for air and missile threats in a defense-grade environment. You will develop high-performance, real-time software that processes radar data and maintains multiple tracks across dozens to hundreds of targets.

You will collaborate with radar engineers and system architects to validate, optimize, and integrate tracking solutions while ensuring rigorous security clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
• Strong programming in C++ and Python.
• Solid foundation in linear algebra, probability, statistics, and differential equations.
• Understanding of software design, testing, version control, and debugging.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced tracking algorithms for air and missile threats.
• Develop real-time software processing radar data and maintaining dozens to hundreds of tracks.
• Build modeling and simulation environments to validate tracking performance.
• Collaborate with radar engineers to integrate tracking into defense systems.
• Optimize tracking software for performance-critical environments.
• Communicate technical trade-offs to cross-functional teams and leadership.
• Participate in customer demonstrations and field tests to ensure deployment.
