Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a software engineer for the Air & Missile Defense Radar team. You will design and implement advanced tracking algorithms, develop high-performance real-time software, and validate performance in simulations.

You will collaborate with radar engineers to integrate tracking into defense systems and optimize software for latency-critical environments. The role requires strong C++/Python skills, a solid math foundation, and the ability to obtain a U.S.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
Strong programming in C++ and Python.
Solid foundation in linear algebra, probability, statistics, or differential equations.
Familiarity with software engineering fundamentals: design patterns, testing, version control, debugging.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

Design and implement advanced tracking algorithms for air and missile threats, including multi-target tracking, track fusion, and discrimination techniques.
Develop real-time software systems that process radar data and maintain tracks on dozens to hundreds of targets.
Build and leverage modeling & simulation environments to validate tracking performance and identify improvements.
Collaborate with radar engineers to integrate tracking solutions into end-to-end defense systems.
Optimize tracking software for high-performance, latency-sensitive environments.
Communicate technical trade-offs to cross-functional teams and leadership.
Participate in customer demonstrations and field tests to ensure deployment success.
