Job summary
Alabama Power Company – Land Information & Technology seeks a Real Property Appraiser to provide valuation, market intelligence, and advisory support across the Southern Company footprint. You will manage appraisals for diverse property types, assist acquisitions and siting decisions, and deliver market analysis for strategic real estate initiatives.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or related field preferred.
- Licensed or Certified Real Property Appraiser required.
- MAI/SRA/ASA/ARA/R/W-AC designations preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide valuation and appraisal services for a wide range of property types.
- Deliver market intelligence and advisory support for siting and acquisitions.
- Support litigation, eminent domain, and regulatory compliance efforts.
- Act as in-house real estate valuation and market intelligence expert.
- Contribute to strategic real estate planning and development initiatives.
