The role focuses on independent appraisal assignments—single property at a time rather than mass valuation—and requires steady work hours and complex, unique valuations for residential and residential‑related properties.

Applicant must be a citizen, national, or permanent resident alien of the United States. Must be eligible for unrestricted employment under federal law.
Equivalent to a graduation from an accredited college or university with major work in real estate, business or public administration, economics or a related field. Work experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree on a year‑for‑year basis.
At least four years of professional experience in appraising real property.
