Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, participates in training and orientation for real property appraisals.
• Conducts readings on fundamentals of real property appraisals and applicable laws.
• Accompanies higher level appraisers on site visits to learn classification and valuation.
• Secures factual data from legal descriptions, tax records, deeds, or encumbrances.
• Assists in preparing staff appraisals by checking calculations and data accuracy.
• May perform tentative estimates of value for training purposes.
• Prepares correspondence requesting or supplying routine information.
