SYNCADD Systems, Inc. is seeking a Real Property Analyst to support the Master Planning Division of the Directorate of Public Works at Fort A.P.

Hill. You will assist the Real Property Accountability Officer and the Realty Specialist with managing the installation’s real property portfolio and will use Army decision support systems to analyze data on capitalization, utilization, maintenance, and optimization opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide facilities inventory support and verify facility data.

• Acquire knowledge of Army systems (GFEBS, AIA, ePRISMS, HQIIS, RPLANS, ASIP).
• Develop action plans to address real property accountability issues.
• Provide project updates and documentation to clients.
• Support RPAO with Key Management duties.

Job description

The Real Property Analyst will support the Master Planning Division within the Directorate of Public Works (DPW) at Fort A.P. Hill (FAPH). The Real Property Analyst will assist the Real Property Accountability Officer (RPAO) and the Realty Specialist (RS) with the management of the installation’s real property portfolio. The Analyst will use Army decision support information systems to analyze and evaluate real property data regarding all aspects real property accountability including capitalization, utilization, maintenance, and optimization opportunities related to Army facilities planning. This will include assembling, processing, validating, and analyzing enterprise real property, force structure, and facility criteria data.

Tasks:

• Provide facilities inventory support to include visual inspection of facilities, as directed, to determine existence, alterations, modifications, structural design and materials, availability of utilities, and other attributes. The Analyst will coordinate with FAPH personnel to gather facilities information and report activities in coordination with the RPAO and the RS
• Research and evaluate contract documents, blueprints, scale maps, plot plans, drawings, and other electronic and paper files to review the real property data and check for accuracy. Document findings and corrective actions for approval by the RPAO
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) and government regulations applicable to the business process, terminology, policies and regulations, and systems requirements for real property-based information management analysis
• Acquire knowledge and use Army enterprise business systems (GFEBS, AIA, ePRISMS, HQIIS, RPLANS, ASIP).
• Identify and develop courses of action to address issues regarding real property accountability
• Provide project updates, metrics, communication, and documentation to clients and stakeholders
• Provide Key Management support to the RPAO

Skill and Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree plus 2+ years of related experience
• Above average skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong professional oral and written communication skills
• Problem solving skills with ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems, and recommend solutions
• Experience in reading, interpreting, and applying Army Regulations, policies, and guidance
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and be capable of obtaining and maintaining a government security clearance

Skill and Experience Desired

• Direct experience with real property management for government agency
• Experience with CADD and/or GIS software
• Experience with Army enterprise systems: GFEBS, AIA, ePRISMS, HQIIS, RPLANS, ASIP
• Knowledge of relevant Army Regulations and guidance pertaining to Real Property, Master Planning, and Space Management
• Prior military service or history of working with Army organizational information

The ideal candidate should be a detail oriented, fast learner able to approach the many variables in a methodical process-based perspective and be comfortable working in a cloud-based virtual environment
