Job summary

Mercy Housing in Denver seeks a Transactions Manager to work on workout, underwrite, and restructure a portfolio of affordable housing assets. You will coordinate with investors, lenders, and internal teams to complete real estate closings and drive asset performance.

This hybrid Denver-based role requires five years in asset management or workout experience and knowledge of HUD programs; a Bachelor's or Master’s degree is preferred. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years in asset management, workout, or restructuring of multifamily housing.
• Knowledge of HUD programs and LIHTC financing is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across management, asset, risk, and accounting teams on workouts and dispositions.
• Draft workout, disposition, and restructure plans for assigned properties.
• Analyze data and present recommendations to improve property performance.
• Prepare long-term financial and capital plans and oversee needed improvements.
• Assist with financing structures for asset recapitalization.
• Negotiate exits for LPs in LIHTC contexts and manage workout dispositions.
• Coordinate with VP of National Portfolio Management and local asset managers.
