Job summary

LS Solutions seeks a Senior Associate to assist in providing independent valuations for commercial real estate clients. You will review markets locally and nationally, gather data through interviews, and present clear results to support business decisions under GAAP, tax, and regulatory standards.

The role includes supervising and mentoring interns and associates, plus contributing to client engagements with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial real estate valuation (1–2 years for Associate; 2+ years for Senior Associate).
• Bachelor's degree in real estate, economics, finance or related fields.
• Familiarity with Discounted Cash Flow modeling in ARGUS and Excel preferred.
• Interest in MAI designation and General Appraiser State Certification.

Role Overview

Assist in providing independent and well-supported valuations for clients, analyzing real estate markets locally, nationally, and internationally using accepted valuation approaches. Gather data through direct client interactions, including interviews with market participants, and review industry surveys, economic, and demographic trends. Prepare and present clear analysis results, proposals, and executive summaries to support informed business decisions under GAAP, tax, and regulatory standards.

Senior Associate Responsibilities

Supervise and mentor interns and associates, contributing to team development.

Qualifications

Minimum one year (Associate) or two years (Senior Associate) of recent experience in commercial real estate valuation, loan underwriting, or asset management. Bachelor's degree in real estate, economics, finance, or related fields. Familiarity with Discounted Cash Flow modeling in ARGUS and Excel is preferred. Interest in obtaining the MAI designation and a General Appraiser State Certification. Strong analytical, communication, and multitasking skills are essential.
