Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States seeks an entry‑ to mid‑level loan underwriting assistant to support senior underwriters with due diligence and documentation management. You will help assemble loan packages, maintain files, and ensure timely close.

You will input data into a proprietary pipeline platform, coordinate with third‑party reports, and participate in borrower calls to track status and accuracy of operating statements and rent rolls.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate or Business Admin preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist during loan underwriting by collecting and managing due diligence docs.
• Prepare and update due diligence checklists and workbooks.
• Collect and review underwriting documentation and status.
• Establish and maintain loan files.
• Input data into the pipeline management platform.
• Coordinate with Third Party Manager and Underwriter.
• Participate in borrower calls on status and timing.
• Analyze property operating statements, rent rolls, and third party reports.
• Assist with assembling loan packages and ensure quality control.
• Reconcile and approve final loan accounting.
