Job summary

QTS is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to support the company's legal operations in real estate acquisition and disposition, including review of contracts, preparation of closing documents, and due diligence.

The role coordinates with Real Estate and Engineering teams, title companies, and Corporate Counsel to manage critical dates, closing binders, and post-closing activities across multiple transactions.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Three or more years of professional experience in a real estate role.
• Strong understanding of real estate law and transaction processes.

Responsibilities

• Creates, updates, and maintains critical dates and deadline notifications for Real Estate and Engineering teams.
• Communicates status of real estate projects to team members.
• Participates in meetings to discuss legal project status and deadlines.
• Acts as liaison with title companies to obtain documents and coordinate closings.
• Maintains a legal file for each location to be acquired, sold, or leased.
• Files, organizes, and creates closing binders for transactions.
• Collaborates with Legal Real Estate attorneys and department staff throughout transactions.
• Maintains knowledge of real estate processes and state-specific documentation.
• Assists in managing the Real Estate document library.
• Supports the Legal Department with transaction checklists and due diligence.
• Supports compliance and information security aspects of property development.
