QTS is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to support the company's legal operations in real estate acquisition and disposition, including review of contracts, preparation of closing documents, and due diligence.
The role coordinates with Real Estate and Engineering teams, title companies, and Corporate Counsel to manage critical dates, closing binders, and post-closing activities across multiple transactions.

The Real Estate Paralegal supports the company's legal operations in a variety of project management, administrative and legal areas, collaborating with QTS business owners, suppliers, and other members of the Legal Department. The position is primarily responsible for supporting all phases of the real estate acquisition and disposition process. This may include but is not limited to the following: review of contracts, preparation of critical dates, leases, titles, plats and surveys, preparation of closing documents, objection letters, utility easements, development and escrow agreements, and any other legal documents that may be required of the transaction, due diligence, engineering process, and/or requested by a Legal Real Estate attorney.
In addition, the Real Estate Paralegal may be called upon to preliminarily review post-closing documents required to complete platting, permitting, remodeling projects, and finance initiatives before final review by Corporate Counsel. The position requires the Real Estate Paralegal to prepare and set calls/meetings (both internally and externally) and prepare associated agendas and follow-up, maintain and keep up to date various reports dealing with critical dates and deadlines which are used by the Real Estate and Engineering Departments to manage permitting deadlines.
