Job summary

We Are Legal Revolution in Chicago, IL, is seeking a 4th-5th year Commercial Real Estate Associate to handle sophisticated transactions, with direct access to high-caliber clients. The practice focuses on institutional investors, owners, and developers, offering a clear path toward partnership.

You will draft and negotiate purchase agreements, leases, and financing documents, while coordinating closings and joint ventures. Illinois Bar admission is required.

Qualifications

• 4th-5th year associate with substantial commercial real estate transactional experience
• Illinois Bar admission in good standing
• Experience handling sophisticated acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and/or finance matters

Responsibilities

• Drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements and related documents
• Advising on acquisitions and dispositions from structuring through closing
• Drafting and negotiating commercial leases, amendments and related agreements
• Working on real estate financing transactions, including loan documentation and closing deliverables
• Assisting with structuring and negotiating real estate joint ventures and investment arrangements
• Managing title, survey, diligence and closing processes
• Driving transactions from term sheet through closing
