Job summary

Ameren seeks a Manager, Real Estate to lead essential functions including Property Acquisition, Easement Acquisition, Property Management, and related real estate activities across transmission, renewables, and infrastructure projects.

The role oversees budgets, hires and supervises professionals, negotiates complex agreements, analyzes market values, and ensures compliance with municipal, county, state and federal regulations to support Ameren's strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Business, Management, or Engineering preferred; professional real estate designations preferred.
• Seven+ years in Real Estate acquisition management including site selection and financial analysis.
• Two+ years supervisory or team leadership experience required; real estate license not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee core Real Estate functions including acquisition, easement, and property management.
• Hire, direct, and evaluate Real Estate professionals and contractors.
• Prepare estimates of market value for purchase, sale, easements, leases, licenses, and construction-related damages.
• Interpret title policies, commitments, and abstracts of title.
• Ensure compliance with municipal, county, state, and federal regulations.
