Job summary

Ameren Transmission seeks a Manager Transmission Construction to lead a team of engineers and contractors in planning, organizing and executing complex transmission projects. You will drive safety, schedule adherence, and cost controls while coordinating with internal teams and external partners.

The role requires a strong engineering background, leadership and communication skills, with travel and overtime possible. PE licensure and PM certification are preferred for this senior position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university required.
• Professional Engineer License (P.E.) in Missouri and or Illinois preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.
• Seven or more years of project construction experience required.
• Five or more years of supervisory or high-level team/project leadership required.
• Transmission line or substation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Foster a culture of safety with zero unsafe acts by championing safety efforts and ensuring safety is the top priority.
• Monitor and assess development needs of co-workers and direct reports.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in planning, development and execution of transmission projects.

• Improve Ameren's relationships with customers and landowners affected by construction activities.
• Develop department policies, practices, procedures, processes and strategies.
