Job summary

HDRis seeking an Real Estate Services Technician I in California, Irvine, Long Beach or Riverside. You will perform entry-level technical services for right-of-way projects, conduct property research, order title, and support the team with administrative tasks and client reporting.

The role requires MS Office proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work within HDR’s collaborative, employee-owned culture as you gain industry knowledge in right-of-way.

Qualifications

  • MS Office Suite product experience is required.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are important.
  • Industry experience in title, paralegal, real estate, or mortgage lending is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Perform entry-level technical services for right-of-way projects as directed.
  • Provide technical services including administrative duties, property research, and ordering title.
  • Support the RES Team with document preparation and administrative support as needed.
  • Input and track data in spreadsheets and/or a database and prepare client reports.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and organization; strong editorial and verbal skills.

In the role of Real Estate Services Technician I, we'll count on you to:

  • Perform entry‑level technical services for right‑of‑way projects as directed
  • Provide technical services including and not limited to administrative duties, property research, and ordering title
  • Support the RES Team with document preparation and administrative support as needed
  • Input and track data in spreadsheets and/or a database and prepare client reports
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and organization, strong editorial and verbal skills. Industry experience such as paralegal, title, mortgage or real estate background is beneficial
  • Train in job‑appropriate aspects of the right‑of‑way industry
  • Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma and some college or equivalent experience
  • GIS and database familiarity
Required Qualifications
  • MS Office Suite product experience
  • General background‑related experience beneficial, including title, paralegal, real estate, real property law or mortgage lending

The expected compensation range for this position is $55,000 - $77,000 and depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full‑time regular positions.
