HDR is seeking a Real Estate Services Agent I to perform pre-negotiation due diligence, review appraisals, verify ownership, and prepare offer packages for public or private projects. Provide pre-negotiation project, parcel and property owner due diligence and negotiate for acquisition of rights relative to public or private projects as assigned
Review appraisals and research comparable properties, prepare and/or provide QC review of Market Analysis and Waiver Valuations following the Federal and State guidelines as applicable
Verify ownership and the extent of interests, prepare offer packages and maintain complete and detailed records/files with owner contacts, agency representatives and project team
Prepare non-survey quality maps, drawings, exhibits to provide to Owners to aid in the Agent’s negotiations
Communicate effectively with internal staff and external clients
Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills
Experience with federal, state, local agencies and private industry guidelines/regulations to educate landowners to effectively facilitate the acquisition/relocation process
Knowledgeable in title research and utility acquisition practices for obtaining permanent and temporary easements
Be proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Power of BI)
Experienced with relational databases such as but not limited to ArcGIS Online
Conduct research and navigate the Internet efficiently and effectively
Read, review and quality check engineering project plans and legal descriptions
Draft various types of real estate documents, such as but not limited to deeds, easements, leases, and purchase agreements
Be available for travel (in state and out of state) as needed
