Job summary

Ares Management Corporation's Real Estate Secondaries team in Boston seeks an Analyst to evaluate real estate secondary opportunities, perform due diligence, and build financial models.

You will analyze property- and fund-level performance across sectors, support investment committees, and contribute to portfolio monitoring and valuation. This role offers exposure to GP-led, LP-led and structured transactions within a collaborative, high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in real estate secondaries or related investment roles.
• Strong academic record and demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Advanced financial analysis, valuation, and modeling capabilities.
• Familiarity with real estate investment concepts, transaction structures, and market dynamics.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in collaborative, fast-paced deal teams.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate real estate secondary investment opportunities through due diligence, market research, benchmarking, and financial modeling.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of real estate LP interests, GP-led transactions, continuation vehicles, and underlying assets.
• Analyze property-level and fund-level performance across multifamily, industrial, office, retail, hospitality, self-storage, data centers, and other asset classes.
• Prepare and present investment recommendations to investment committees and the broader team.
• Support the investment team in transaction execution, portfolio monitoring, asset management oversight, and ongoing valuation analysis.
• Build industry relationships with fund sponsors, operating partners, advisors, and attend conferences.
