Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking a Manager of Real Estate Portfolio Management to lead the RE portfolio across multiple regions, aligning projects with strategic plans and capital optimization.

The role oversees 2,400 facilities with 300-350 active projects, driving multi-year plans, governance, and risk management while coordinating with PMCoE and line leaders to ensure consistent delivery and value creation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field; 5+ years of related experience.
• High School/GED plus 10+ years related experience.
• Project Management training.
• 5+ years in Project Management/Project Development.
• Experience supervising diverse work groups internal and external to the enterprise.
• Ability to lead to team members, consultants, contractors, customers and other internal and external entities.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Business and finance knowledge.
• Excellent communication with senior management.
• Ability to translate high-level objectives into executable plans.
• Experience resolving difficult stakeholder situations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Portfolio Management resources, processes and programs of the RE organization.
• Develop and assure implementation of established processes and procedures for MYP screening, scoping, estimates and funding packages.
• Track development progress; identify and mitigate risks; report status to RE leadership.
• Support portfolio strategy and prioritization to align with company objectives and funding processes.
