Job summary

TRD Advisors LLC is seeking a Real Estate Private Equity Fund Accountant to join our growing finance team in Manhattan. You will support accounting and reporting across our investment vehicles, focusing on fund accounting, allocations, and financial statements under US GAAP.

Ideal candidates have 2–5+ years in real estate fund accounting or related private equity spaces, with strong Excel skills and experience with Yardi. Public accounting background is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years accounting experience required.
• Real estate fund accounting or public accounting experience in financial services preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• CPA or working toward accreditation preferred.
• Strong Excel and Yardi proficiency advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Review wire transfers, journal entries and track status.
• Prepare/Review allocations and JE’s across funds for expenses and funding/distributions.
• Prepare fund investor capital calls, distributions, and management fee calculations.
• Coordinate intercompany transactions and reconcile fund, middle tier, JV and SPE accounts.
• Assist in quarterly valuation process and fund/deal setup and structuring.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly workpapers and financial statements under US GAAP.
