Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to support complex real estate transactions including land acquisition, land development, title, and closing matters across divisions. This role partners closely with in-house counsel and business teams to manage transactions from contract through closing in a fast-paced homebuilding environment.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive paralegal experience in real estate, strong drafting skills, and the ability to coordinate timelines and due diligence

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years of paralegal or legal assistant experience in real estate transactions.
• Experience reviewing title commitments, surveys, easements, and closing docs.
• Experience in homebuilding or related real estate preferred.
• Familiarity with contract tracking systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys and business teams on land acquisition, development, title, entitlement, HOA, and related real estate matters from contract through closing.
• Prepare first drafts of purchase/sale agreements, amendments, easements, and other transaction documents.
• Coordinate timelines, approvals, deliverables, closing checklists, and track key dates and contingencies.
• Review and summarize title commitments, surveys, plats, HOA/CC&R documents, and due diligence materials.
• Collaborate with Land Acquisition, Finance, division leadership, title companies, and external counsel to move matters forward.
• Assist with drafting and review of closing documents, settlement statements, and post-closing deliverables.
• Maintain organized electronic files and improve templates and workflows.
• Mentor junior staff on transaction processes and closing requirements.
