Job summary

  • Experience reviewing, organizing, and managing real estate contracts and documents.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to collaborate with internal and external partners.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools.

What You’ll Bring (Required Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • The ability to become or currently be a Notary Public for the purpose of notarizing legal documents.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a corporate or commercial real estate paralegal, professional, administrator, or property manager within a law firm, a real estate company, or an equivalent setting.
  • Proficient understanding of the real estate process, demonstrating comprehension of related transactional and legal work.
  • Comprehensive understanding of all real estate-related documentation, including purchase or sale contracts, leases, options, agreements, and letters of understanding.
  • Exceptional detail-orientation with excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to exhibit resourcefulness, forward-thinking, and superior time management.
  • Proven capability to manage challenges effectively and provide/implement appropriate solutions.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A talent for establishing and maintaining positive, professional working relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite software programs (PowerPoint, Excel, Sheets, Word, Docs).
  • Demonstrated learning agility and adaptability, with a quick learner mindset.
  • A stable employment history, reflecting at least 2 years with the same company.
  • Experience reviewing, organizing, and managing legal documentation and contracts.
  • Resourceful and self-motivated, comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
What Will Set You Apart (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Possession of a Paralegal Certificate.
  • An active Notary Public commission.
  • Direct real estate paralegal experience, though strong transferable paralegal experience combined with a demonstrated ability to learn quickly will also be highly valued.
