Job summary

Robinson & Cole LLP in Boston, MA seeks a full-time Paralegal for our Real Estate + Development team. You will assist attorneys with commercial real estate transactions, including title review, document ordering, closing binders, and due diligence.

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree and 4–5 years of commercial real estate experience; strong MS Office skills; and excellent written and oral communication. The firm offers a hybrid work model and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Review title commitments and surveys; order documents from MA Secretary of State.
  • Perform UCC, bankruptcy and litigation searches; prepare closing documents.
  • Due diligence review and draft routine correspondence and documents.
  • Assist closing binders and coordinate with attorneys on transactions.
  • Knowledge of affordable housing and commercial finance is a plus; experience with Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac transactions is helpful.

Job description

The Boston office of Robinson & Cole LLP, an AmLaw 200 firm, is seeking a full-time Paralegal to join our Real Estate + Development team in Boston, MA.


This position will assist attorneys in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions including review of title commitment and survey, filings and ordering documents from the MA Secretary of State, ordering and review of UCC, bankruptcy and litigation searches, closing document preparation, due diligence review, , preparing closing binders and drafting routine correspondence and documents. Knowledge of the affordable housing and commercial finance a plus. Experience with commercial Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac transactions is helpful.


Qualified candidates will have the following:


  • Bachelor’s degree and 4-5 years of commercial real estate experience

  • Detail oriented with proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Highly motivated with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks

  • Enjoy being part of a fast paced work environment

  • Must take initiative, anticipate needs and follow specific detailed procedures

  • Flexibility for overtime


MA Applicants: Please note that the target base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $110,000. Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's years of experience, skills, qualifications, and office location.
