Ingles Markets, Inc. is seeking a Real Estate Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repairs on company-owned property.

The role services retail locations in the Fletcher/Hendersonville, NC area and requires hands-on skills in building maintenance, painting, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma, be 21+, hold a valid driver's license with a clean record, and pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Roadway/parking lot repairs, patching potholes.
• Building maintenance, drywall repairs, floor tile replacement, restroom maintenance, interior/exterior painting.
• HVAC filter changes and maintenance.
• Minor plumbing and electrical repairs, replacing outlets/covers.
• Must have knowledge of an assortment of hand tools.

The Position

The Real Estate Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs to company owned property.

The Technician will be part of the team that services retail locations in the Fletcher/Hendersonville, NC general area.

Key Responsibilities

• Roadway/parking lot repairs, patching potholes
• Building maintenance, dry wall repairs, floor tile replacement, restroom maintenance, interior/exterior painting
• HVAC filter changes and maintenance
• Minor plumbing and electrical repairs, replacing electrical outlets and covers
• Must have knowledge of an assortment of hand tools

The Ideal Candidate

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Related construction or maintenance experience is desired.
• Has strong time management, organizational skills, with particular attention to detail.
• Must have general handyman expertise and knowledge.
• Ability to complete maintenance tasks, as directed.
• Welding experience is preferred.
