Job summary

Lake Region Bank is seeking a Loan Processor to provide backroom support by processing new loans and servicing existing loans (pre- and post-closing). You will assist customers by phone or in person and help file documentation for the loan services department.

Responsibilities include completing special projects, adhering to bank procedures and regulations, and traveling between branches to support operations. Strong organizational skills and MS Office proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-year business degree or 2 years banking experience; loan processing experience is a bonus.
• Knowledge of banking operations and services; ability to travel between branches.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to work with bank employees and customers.

Responsibilities

• Process new loans and servicing existing loans (pre- and post-closing).
• Assist customers by phone/in person, as promptly and courteously as the situation permits.
• Assist with daily filing of documentation in loan services; complete special projects as assigned by Loan Services Manager.
• Maintain knowledge of bank procedures & regulations; emphasize BSA/AML compliance.
• Attendance at training sessions; many hours may require travel between branches.
