Chatham Financial is seeking a Loan Asset Management Analyst to support the Investment Management team. You will analyze commercial real estate loan agreements, organize critical financing information, and transform terms into structured data within the company’s technology platform to help institutional investors monitor portfolios and make informed decisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Real Estate, Mathematics, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High level of attention to detail and organizational ability.
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

Review commercial real estate loan agreements and other financing documents to identify key loan terms and obligations.
Build and maintain loan models within Chatham's proprietary technology platform.
Monitor portfolio activity, including loan draws, repayments, refinancings, amendments, and covenant updates.
Assist in preparing client reports, dashboards, and portfolio analytics that highlight key financing metrics and upcoming events.
Perform quality control reviews to ensure loan information remains accurate and complete.
Participate in client meetings alongside senior team members while developing your understanding of client objectives.
Collaborate with teammates across advisory, valuation, and technology to continually improve client solutions and internal processes.
