Job summary

Robert Hadley Associates in New York City seeks an associate to manage pre-trial aspects of complex real estate and commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and analytical skills and can handle pleadings through trial.

Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, responding to discovery, conducting legal research, drafting motions, appearing at court conferences and motion hearings, taking and defending depositions, and assisting with trial preparation; a strong

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience handling litigation matters from pleadings through trial in New York State Supreme Court and/or Federal Court.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology and software systems.
• Ability to commute to our NYC office five days per week.
