Elizabeth Sanders is a Chicago-based boutique law firm seeking an Associate Attorney with at least two years of litigation experience to join its real estate practice. Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school is required.
• Active Illinois law license and ARDC registration in good standing are required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of litigation experience.
• Experience in real estate litigation and/or transactions preferred.
• Local government/municipal law experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters including motion practice, discovery, and depositions.
• Draft briefs, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Appear in Illinois state and/or federal court.
• Assist with real estate disputes and land banking/municipal client matters.
• Conduct legal research and provide practical legal analysis.
• Independently manage assigned matters and deadlines with partners' collaboration.
