Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- 3+ years of experience handling commercial real estate transactions at a law firm.
- Experience with acquisitions, dispositions, financings, joint ventures, fund formation, or leasing.
- Strong transactional drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex matters and work effectively within a collaborative team.
- Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach.
- Experience at an established commercial law firm preferred.
- Strong academic credentials preferred.
Responsibilities
- Represent sophisticated clients in commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and investment transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, financing documents, joint venture agreements, and other transactional contracts.
- Advise on commercial real estate financings, private equity investments, and fund formation matters.
- Support joint ventures, leasing transactions, and complex real estate development projects.
- Conduct due diligence, assess legal and business risks, and manage key aspects of transaction closings.
- Collaborate with experienced attorneys and clients throughout all stages of the transaction process.
- Take ownership of meaningful responsibilities while continuing to develop your expertise in commercial real estate law.
