Atrium, a growing real estate company in South Florida, seeks a Junior Accountant in Miami Beach to support the finance team with full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and month-end close. The role requires strong Excel skills and attention to detail, with responsibilities spanning GL management, AP/AR, budgeting, and variance analysis.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, up to 6 months of accounting experience, and an interest in real estate.

Qualifications

• Strong Excel skills are required.
• Minimum of 6 months of accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree for Junior Accountant role.
• Experience with full-cycle accounting, including financial reporting and month-end close.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flows).
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts; review and post journal entries.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing; coordinate with teams for accurate reporting.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting; provide variance analysis.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and cost optimization opportunities.
• Support in tax returns and audits; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with external advisors and internal stakeholders on reporting initiatives.
