Inland Real Estate Group, LLC is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, ensuring accurate financial reporting and audit readiness. You will review GAAP statements, coordinate with external auditors, and mentor accounting professionals across finance and investor services.

The role requires 7–10 years of accounting experience in real estate or asset-based environments, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, and strong Excel/Yardi skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
• Experience in real estate/investment management preferred.
• CPA preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close for assigned portfolios.
• Oversee GAAP financial statements, lender and investor reporting.
• Perform consolidated variance analyses and resolve fluctuations.
• Manage stand-alone investment audits and assist with consolidated audits.
• Coordinate with external auditors and other partners for tax and reporting needs.
• Maintain investment records in Yardi and collaborate with Asset Management on dispositions.
• Drive process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
• Supervise and develop accounting staff.
