Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• CPA certification or active CPA track is expected.
• 10+ years of progressive fund accounting or investment management accounting experience, including team leadership.
• Direct fund accounting experience with partnership accounting, capital activity, allocations, and investor reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with fund accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fund and investment vehicle accounting, including NAV calculations, capital accounts, allocations, capital calls, distributions, and management fees.
• Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements across complex fund structures.
• Manage fund cash flows, liquidity, banking activity, subscription facilities, and waterfall/incentive allocations.
• Lead annual fund audits and coordinate tax reporting, investor K-1 processes, and related compliance.
• Oversee investor statements, performance reporting, and reporting deadlines.
• Manage and develop fund accounting professionals while strengthening internal controls and reporting processes.
