Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience (corporate accounting, audit, or real estate/construction accounting preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern accounting software systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting cycles, including general ledger maintenance, accruals, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
• Coordinate and assist with annual financial and operational audits, ensuring adherence to accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform reconciliations of complex bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist executive management in preparing, tracking, and analyzing budgets, variance analyses, and management reporting summaries.
• Oversee daily entry and processing of financial transactions across enterprise accounting platforms (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, AppFolio).
• Continuously evaluate and refine accounting workflows and internal controls to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Serve as a trusted financial resource for corporate and operational personnel and support CFO-led projects.
