The Opportunity

Our client seeks a mid- to senior-level Associate to join the real estate finance group within the Finance Department. We are considering candidates for the Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Denver, Baltimore, or New York offices. Qualified candidates should have 6-10 years of commercial real estate finance experience in an Am Law 100 firm, with strong academic credentials. An active bar license in the relevant location is required.

Candidates should have extensive experience with a broad range of debt, debt-like, and equity transactions secured by or invested in real estate projects, including construction financing and multi-tiered capital transactions. This role offers the chance to join a long-standing national finance practice with experience in all 50 states, handling sophisticated structured real estate finance, preferred equity investments, and distressed commercial real estate transactional matters. The group mainly focuses on lender/capital provider-side work but also handles borrower-side work. Experience with either or both is acceptable. The position provides the opportunity to work directly with partners and gain client contact in a collegial environment.
